The main attractions are Sadarghat (river front), Ahsan Manjil (Pink palace), Lalbagh Fort, Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Dhakeswari Temple, Karzan Hall, National Parliament Building, National Museum, Liberation war Museum and Dhaka Zoo. Though is it not possible to visit all the places by this tour, but we will try to show you as many as possible within 3-4 hours.

Full day sight-seeing Tour

The first half will be same as half day city tour. After having lunch at city Chinese or Bangladeshi Restaurant, drive to either Sonargaon (29km). The oldest capital of Bengal (13^th-17^th centuries) or Saver (35km) to visit our National martyr’s monument. Back to Dhaka at around 06:00 pm at your nominated pick up point.

You stop on many Villages, bazaars, see the real life style and enjoy the different folk cultural programs in different villages in the evening.

A cruise on Meghna, Ganges, Brahmaputra and other rivers will introduce you to riverine Bangladesh and her history, culture and life style. It is like a documentary filming before your eyes.

Cruise on Meghna River n  visit Sonargaon

You board on our wooden boat to join this adventure. Explore the remote island villages that are only accessible by boat. Know their lifestyle. Stop at any island in the middle of river, swim and have more fun. Enjoy the hilsa fishing and the activities of villagers. On way back, visit Sonargaon, which was the first capital of Bengal (13th to 17th Century) a traditional Bangladeshi or Chinese food will serve at lunch.

Depart Dhaka at 9 am from your nominated pick up point, you will board to the boat at Bouddhar Bazaar which is 29 km from Dhaka and takes about an hour to reach.

Archeological Excursion to Moinamoti

Depart from Dhaka in the early morning for Moinamoti which is about 95 km southeast of Dhaka and well connected by road.  The journey will take two and half hour’s time. Up on arrival you will visit “War Cemetery” where you can see the graveyard of the soldiers died in the Myanmar front during the world war-2. Drive to archeological camp where the Salban Vihara and the museum are located. Excavated Buddhist remains of 8th/9th Century are dotted all the way along the North-south running Lalmai-Moinamoti-Hill range.

From here the following adjacent sites you may also visit: Anonda Vihara, Charpatra Mura, Itakhola Mura, Rubban Mura, and Kutila Mura are situated within the Moinmoti Cantonment are therefore, prior permission of the Cantonment authorities is necessary for the visit. After lunch at Miami Restaurants we will drive back to Dhaka. On the way back, we will visit Sonargaon, the oldest city, which was the capital of Bengal from 13th—17th century.

Overnight Village Home stay trip

Day 01: Depart from Dhaka in the morning by our reserved car / van. We will reach the village within 1-2 hours. During the day, you will be involved in the daily activities of the villagers like agriculture in the field, tending cattle, fishing or weaving. After having lunch with your home stay family we shell visit Zamindar palace and some Hindu temples (built more than hundred years ago), those are still in good condition. This palace is nearby Shitalakhma River, so you may go for a short cruise with the help of country boat. In the evening local singer will perform a significant folk musical program. Your accommodation will be very simple but we shell make sure the necessities.

Day 02: In the early morning you will visit the village market, which is very different from the experience in your life. After breakfast you must enjoy the rural education system in a local school. Your accompanied guide will help you to communicate with students. After lunch drive back to Dhaka.
